Northern limit of monsoon:: The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Bikaner, Jaipur, Datia, Satna, Daltenganj, Sagar Island and thence southeastwards to eastcentral Bay of Bengal and extending upto 4.5 Km above mean sea level tilting southward with height.
