FORECAST FOR THE PATH OF TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE

Source:: IMD

GENERALLY CLOUDY SKY WITH RAIN/THUNDERSHOWER AT MANY PLACES WITH ISOLATED HEAVY TO VERY HEAVY SPELLS OVER PARTS OF NORTHWEST MAHARASHTRA, GUJARAT, CENTRAL MADHYA PRADESH, ASSAM & MEGHALAYA AND ARUNACHAL PRADESH.

PARTLY CLOUDY SKY WITH RAIN/THUNDERSHOWER AT A FEW PLACES OVER PARTS OF EAST UTTAR PRADESH, BIHAR, SUB-HIMALAYAN WEST BENGAL & SIKKIM

"Indian Weatherman" opinion::

Usually during South-west monsoon season, early mornings will be generally cloudy or atleast partly cloudy. So over India we have very less chance of witnessing the event.

There's a bright possibility of CLEAR skies over Bihar, because most of the moisture has been sucked by yesterday's depression which crossed Orissa and now over Vidharba.
