West Coast Heats up:22nd Jan:
Panjim Goa saw a hot day on 22nd Jan with the mercury touching 36.8c. This apparently, is the highest ever recorded in January in Panjim. Mormugao was 34.9c.
Honavar was also hot at 37.6c Karwar 36.8c, and Mangalore was 36.3c.
Kozhikode 36.3c and Kochi 35.1c.
Ratnagiri was at 35.7c, Vengurla 34.9c.
Mumbai Scruz was hot at 34.7c. Not much change in temperatures expected next few days.Expected between 33c and 18/19c.
Ahmadabad shot up to 32c on Sunday.A couple of degrees hotter on Monday/Tuesday.
The Forecast below is in total a 5 day Forecast...may vary a little;

STRONGEST WD OF THE SEASON TO BRING HEAVY SNOW OVER HILLS & GOOD RAINS OVER PLAINS OF NORTH INDIA, RAINY REPUBLIC DAY ON CARDS.

After giving less snow for last 2 years now finally god has fulfilling the need of snowfall even more then need. Hills of North india witnessing back to back spells of snowfall from Christmas till now with short breaks even it was not an end, another spell i can say a big one in sight. A fresh Western disturbance is likely to start affecting hills of North india by tommorow it will bring moderate to good snow over j&k, Himachal pradesh & some isolated light showers may be seen over Rajasthan, Punjab & Haryana but cloud cover will be there, snow will be on peak on 22 & 23 jan, this spell will not over & another even more stronger will be seen coming from back & start affect hills along with plains of North india by late evening/Night of 24 jan till 27 jan. Heavy snowfall will be there in this period even some places may record some very heavy snow, N- NE Punjab, NE Haryana & abjoining Uttar pradesh may also receive heavy showers along with hailstorm activities claiming crops damage etc, other parts of Haryana, Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, UP has chances of moderate rainfall with hails even parts of North MP, Jharkhand will also receive light rains. It is going to be prolonged widespread wet spell for Northern parts of country, Rains will be on peak on 25-26 jan so here i can say a Wet Republic day ahead for National capital and Northern. Whereas chilly weather to take backseat from tommorow onwards as min temperature will rise due to change in wind pattern & cloud cover but fog will make a comeback over the region. So Chilly weather will not be witnessed till wd clears from region but as the wd clears from the region chilly winds will back & severe coldwave may grip the region as winds will blow directly from snow clad mountains. Whereas normal life will be totally disturbed in hilly states as snow to mar over the region. Tourists were also taught not go to J&K, HP in coming days. After witnessing a little milder December, January turn out a Good month and the current conditions also giving sings of wet & cold February ahead!
