Another circulation expected over E India and less rain for Maharastra coast till 18-Jul

But, West coast offshore trough is still weak .. and seen only along S-coast Maharastra to N Kerala coast !

SWM rainfall after NCR's rain
This is the first time in 2015 SWM period so far, the Indian Ocean High is with 1036hPa. There is every possibility that SWM may become active to vigorous in the western coast again until 15 July 2015. The active phase will be 8 Deg Parallel to 15 Deg parallel in west coast area. The monsoon depression in the Bay which moved deep in land gracing National Capital and North India gave copious rainfall. This will move further north and give moderate rain. But even then the country's SWM rainfall till to day (12.7.15) is in the negative side of NORMAL

Chennai - 6:30pm, lots of mini showers seen over W,SW and S at around 50 to 100km. Some will push into city and suburbs before 10pm. #iwm
