Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Coastal Tamil Nadu. Isolated rainfall occurred over rest Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.

            The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimeters are:

Ambasamudram (Tirunelveli dt) and Konni (Pathanamthitta dt) 3 each, Manimuthar and Papanasam (both Tirunelveli dt) and Aryankavu (Kollam dt) 2 each and Ayikudi and Nanguneri (both Tirunelveli dt), Palayamkottai,Tuticorin,Tiruchendur and Vilathikulam (both Tuticorin dt) and Kolachal (Kanyakumari dt)

Nemdumangad and Neyyattinkara (both Thiruvananthapuram dt), Thodupuzha (Idukki dt) and Kayamkulam and Mavelikkara (both Alapuzha dt) 1 each.

Report for Mumbai: Winds turned direction today (Friday) to NE and temperatures rising as expected in vagaries 'forecast. Current temperature at 27.4c (11.30 am), rising.Yesterday's high was 28c.
In answer to FAQs, as mentioned in previous forecasts, the day will be rising to above 31c till Monday.(Earlier Mentioned 33/34c may be touched also).
Next week, Tuesday onwards the effect of F-2 could be felt, though, as of now it seems it would not drop below 14c at S'Cruz. Shall update.
The drop depends on the pressure gradient which steers the winds and controls the speed.
