 Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Coastal Tamil Nadu. Isolated rainfall occurred over rest Tamil Nadu, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Interior Karnataka.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimeters are:

Aluva (Ernakulam dt), Kanjirapally (Kottayam dt), Ambasamudram (Tirunelveli dt) and Sathankulam (Tuticorin dt) 3 each, Thalasserry (Kannur dt), Piravom (Ernakulam dt), Tiruvananthapuram Airport, Sivagiri (Tirunelveli dt), Tuticorin and Bodinayakanur (Theni dt) 2 each and Kozhikode Airport, Kochi Airport, Nanguneri and Papanasam (both Tirunelveli dt) 1 each.
