On Wednesday, the maximum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over Coastal Karnataka.
Number of stations recorded the highest maximum temperature of 39 degree Celsius on 3-Mar, over south india.
Chennai - Towards evening the wind is from East-south-east... making it warm and humid.
Chennai - Had a cold morning 20.9°C (5:54am) and touched a max of 31.4°C (11:48am)
Fall in maximum temperature by 2°C over parts of northwest India during next 2-3 days.
Western disturbance over western Himalayan region persists.
Due to warm air advection, temperatures continue to remain appreciably above normal over many parts of northwest and central India.
Minimum temperatures are above normal by 4-6°C over most parts of northwest, central, parts of Gujarat and east India.
