Past 24hrs accumulated precipitation shows HEAVY rainfall over most of #gujarat, W,N,NW Maharastra and into S Madhyapradesh.
Why #mumbai , Gujarat and Maharastra getting heavy rain?? Its due to low,mid-level circulation seen over E Gujarat, NW Maharastra and SW MP.
It's upper-level (500hpa) circulation is seen elongated along W Maharastra into NE Arabian sea. This is bringing HEAVY rain for #Mumbai
