    Looking at the predicted depression position, if it takes the usual north-west track, its going to miss TN.
    So that would suppress rainfall activity for a at least a week in TN.
    Even otherwise, I don't think we are having/ going to have daily monsoon rains anyway!

    Well. Current sea temperatures (both Arabian and Bengal Bay) are good enough to seed one or two systems in the coming weeks.
    But I wish the sea temperatures cool down a bit and allow some of the clouds that you see now around Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Thailand pass through our peninsula (TN, AP,SL). This would be the best thing that can happen where you would get enormous rain. But thats not going to happen.
    You are going to see depressions and cyclones and keep your fingers crossed for rains
