I am afraid something is wrong! Did you mean Cholavaram got 121.2 cms of rain in just three days! The entire annual rainfall of Chennai is only around 120 cms! Kindly check the facts.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry, the figures are for the entire year- from 01 Jan to 03 Oct 2010. This only means that even before the start of North East monsoon this year, some areas like Cholavaram, Ponneri etc have received nearly full quota annual of rainfall from the South-West monsoon!This is good news for Chennai.
