the IMD said on Saturday that the high-impact event was so localised that that a nearby meteorological observatory of Indian Air Force (IAF) reported only 12.8 mm of rainfall during the 24 hours ending 5.30 a.m. on Friday. There is no official rainfall figure for the “fatal hours in the affected area” available since it did not have an observatory in the region.
Thanks Pradeep Sir. Please give some forcast for south peninsular India- south interior Karnataka and Rayalseems. Bangalore lots of water and power problem. Will it rain in sept/oct or no rain for no rain for 2010.
ND-TV report says Leh cloud burst resulted in 12.5mm of rain. That is too small amount compared to Mumbai/Gujrat rains 1000mm - 500mm.
