Dear Weatherman, As shri Venkatesh pointed out it was a widespread rainfall in Tamilnadu today [21.8.2010] in continuation to yesterdays [20.08.2010] weather system and it was associated with SWM wind [upper air] circulation. It will continue for another 24 hours.
