Did any one see a strange light over Chennai’s skies yesterday?
There were reports of strange lights over the skies of Chennai yesterday night. NDTV Hindu had a live call in show yesterday night from around 10pm – 11pm and a lot of callers reported the sightings from many parts of the city. Most people described it as a bright white light which moved like a pendulum and this is the second such sighting in recent time.
NDTV Hindu tried getting our weatherman Mr Ramanan on the show to comment but he said that he cannot commet on the reports as he is on leave, looks like he is on a long leave

STRANGE LIGHTS SEEN IN THE SKY - CHENNAI
ReplyDeleteChennai People are witnessing strange lights in the sky, for the Past two months approximately.
These strange lights are seen for the past two months in regular intervals, in various parts of Chennai. One doesn’t know whether this light occurs in the day as none reported till now witnessing these sorts of lights during the day. Moreover, these lights aren’t visible during the day so we can’t yet jump to a conclusion it occurs only at night. People say it lasts for ten minutes or less, but with our own conscience it was seen for over an hour continuously.
It was us a small group of friends in the terrace by evening (29th April 2010, 18.28 PM). We found something moving in the clouds, indeed tearing apart the clouds, my first feel was that of a bird flying, my friend countered me saying it must be a flight moving in the clouds. It came to us as a shock when we saw that light started moving to and fro in a rapid pace. We had to closely observe for a few seconds in silence then we identified that it was a light ray which was heading north but couldn’t guess where it originated from.
This light travelled in a linear motion and there were no twists and turns as witnessed by few on NDTV HINDU yesterday (31.5.2010). It was yellowish white in color. If necessary to compare this light to a smaller outlet, then we can compare it to that of a light comes from a torch in a dark room where you can see the light rays travelling in a linear motion, or the sun rays which is seen inside your house with all dust particles in it. Only thing is that this light ray was heading north. To an extent the speed and power of this light was that of the rays from a lighthouse, it is actually even more but just for an easy comparison that anyone can be familiar with.
Experts haven’t come to a conclusion nor did they throw any light on this as they are still clueless. But, Indian experts believe that these cannot be any meteor shower or an alien appearance. They doubt, some experiments happening at NASA. NDTV-HINDU news channel aired a live show on this issue where 30 to 40 local people called and shared their experiences from various parts of Chennai which lasted for two hours yesterday (31.5.2010).
Thanks to NDTV-HINDU which threw more light on this mystery and hope we would come to know the reason behind this soon. As of now experts and the media asked none to panic.

i hav seen similar one exactly same as what u said.. on may 6th!! so true that it was emitting like,looked like a bird and was moving in a sort of a spiral motion or pendulum motion

ReplyDeleteSounds like "Project Bluebeam" is being rehearsed on chennai sky. Or are they conducting any experiment on public to see the reaction if they stage such an event? Somebody shed some light !!!
If anybody dont know wat "project bluebeam" is, then just google it for answers.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure what you are talking about because I have not seen that. But yesterday night I saw one strange kind of light moving in the clouds. It was like a very very string searchlight kind of thing. I saw it near about 10pm when I went outside to have my dinner. When I looked in the east side I saw one yellowish light moving . I couldn't believe my eyes but it was directly hitting the clouds. I have never ever seen this kind of light before. if someone knows anything about this light, please let me know.
