Is appropriate to term it EASTERLY wave during pre monsoon period. Even though the winds up to certain level be easterly i do not think it producing a wave. Any how it can be termed as weak easterlies. To day 03.04.2010 /2113 hrs IST Kerala coast and SIK will be experiencing rainfall. We in TN will also get rain very soon, once the flare up medium to low clouds in the Bay touches coast. Lower winds are predominantly southerly to SEly where as the upper winds are SWly.
