It was so very hot today, with temps at 37.9 degrees.... It used not to be this hot in the month of oct it usually takes a dive on the lower side in the first week of oct in chennai to around 32 to 34 degrees from a very hot 36 to 38 degrees till sep.. But this year tats not the case, even after a week gone now in oct, the mercury is nearing an unusually hot 38 degrees, the news that NE monsoon is not gonna commence in chennai in at least for a fortnight now, only means that there is little chance for us to get respite from the searing heat...
