Today (26-Oct-08) there is no rain and surely there's not going to be any rains.
And
very importantly there'll not be any rain till Diwali day (27-Oct-08) evening 6 PM.
So people can Enjoy the Diwali without and rain problems.
This 3 day dry spell OR lull in rains will be good for the CRACKER biz..!

Diwali has dawned with clear skies.There was a tinge of cold in the air in the mornings.Probably because of the recent spells of rains.
ReplyDeleteThe satellite picture of the bay reveals a huge massive cloud mass in the southern bay of bengal straddling the entire southern bay.But forecasts do not indicate any possibilities of low pressure in the south bay. I wonder if this cloud mass could throw up some low circulation.This is the time the monsoon is supposed to be in top gear. Wish we get more raisn in the early monsoon season for the NE monsoon hardly lasts for 2 months going by the records
