Its raining very heavily in Pondicherry from one of my friend living there.

The continuing rain in Coimbatore district and along the Western Ghats for the fourth day on Monday resulted in copious inflow into reservoirs besides steadily increasing the storage in many of the reservoirs, including the Parambikulam-Aliyar Project.

The rainfall level reported across the district at 8.30 a.m in mm were as follows: Chinnakallar- 113, Valparai taluk- 95, Valparai PAP- 93, Chincona- 87, TNAU- 76 and Coimbatore South- 73.

Chennai - Now 7:04pm.. wind direction is from E-S-E and cloud movemt from West.. chance of sudden sharp shower before 10pm is increasing.

Chennai - touched a max of 37.4°C (2:54pm)..

Chennai - Same as in pondicherry, Low cloud movement is from S-W and chance of a sharp shower is increased towards late evening.

South west of pondicherry is cloudy(low clouds). clouds movement also in SW. Winds is having lot of moisture from east. will it rain ?
