After lull in whole June, Rains makes massive entry in Mumbai today.

Mumbai S'Cruz recorded 105 mms rainfall in just 3hrs!!  From 8.30am to 11.30am today..

Pressure is high at 1011 hPa. No fish clouds on west coast as not strong west coast trough.. None of the models or IMD predicted such heavy rain today!! So it is once again proved that predicting west coast rain is toughest of all!!

Badlapur recorded 70 mms rainfall ending 8.30am today.

The Mascarene High with 1032 hPa strength

 (a) The Mascarene High is with strength 1032 hPa is a good sign.

(b) Cross Equatorial winds will start flow over Goa and Maharastra

(c) The possibility of formation of low over Bay is there because of lesser strength SWM wind in the Bay [than compare to Arabian Sea NOW]

(d) West coast will get new revival from today to two days.

(e) By virtue of rainfall statistics Tamilnadu is in the positive side of NORMAL [+4 or so]

(f) Hope this as a better start for SWM rainfall for JULY atleast in Kerala, Karnataka, Konkan& Goa and Maharastra.

Since most of the rivers especially east flowing rivers in Tamilnadu will be getting benefited by this rainfall.
